Terms & Conditions FAQHow far in advance do I need to reserve my date?
Sooner is always better, but we can accept catering reservations up to 3 business days in advance. To make your booking please fill out the request form.
Do you require a deposit?
Not in every case, but upon consultation we will let you know if a deposit is necessary for your event.
Can I make up my own menu or make changes in your menus?
We are happy to work with you to create an original menu, and changes can always be made to our menu items. Please look at our sample menus.
Can you provide for vegetarian and special dietary needs?
We are happy to prepare vegetarian, vegan and other special needs menu items. When planning your event, we will discuss your dietary needs and suggest a menu that will work for you and your guests. Please tell us if we need to consider food allergies.
Do you provide tastings?
Yes. Our Chef can prepare a selection of our most popular menu items for your enjoyment when you come in to plan your event. Kindly understand that due to minimum orders some items can not be prepared at a low cost for small numbers. Call our catering professionals at 03-6438-1685 to make reservations for a tasting.
Can I buy my own alcoholic beverages?
Certainly, we’ll be happy to help you with advice on quantities. For your party size, we do not charge a corkage fee for catering.
Can you provide bartenders for my party?
Yes. Our bartenders are professional. As a general rule, you need to allow one bartender per 40 guests for beer and wine bars, and one bartender per 20 guests for full bar service.
How many staff people will be at my event?
If you choose to have a full-service event, staffing will depend on the menu, number of guests and whether you choose china or disposable plateware and serviceware. We will include estimated hours and costs for staff on your estimate. Please let us know about the style and details of your event by using our request form.
How will I know what my total event cost will be?
After discussing your needs, we will prepare an itemized estimate for you. There will be separate line items for food, staff, rental equipment, china, linenswhatever you need us to provide or coordinate for you.
Do your servers wear uniforms?
Yes. We wear uniforms appropriate for the style of your event.
Can you take care of china, glassware and linens for me?
We can provide china, flatware, glassware and linens. Once you decide the details of your event, we will order and arrange for delivery of rental items. We will also set up on the day of your event.
How about tables and chairs?
A full range of styles and sizes are available from our rental vendors. We can also rent any electronic equipment you may need, including microphones, projectors or other items.
Do you require a contract?
Yes. E-mail us at ramon@moonandback.jp if you would like a copy. Our contract is our final confirmation estimate which must be signed and returned before we can guarantee your event.
Are you insured?
We are fully covered for driver safety and all food prepared at our restaurant premises.
Do you charge a gratuity on your bill?
There is a 10% overhead charge on our invoices to cover expenses involved with transport, and additional service equipment.
